Our Story

Storytelling is an ancient tradition.  It serves as a library for the moments in life which define who we are while entertaining the imagination. Sing Me A Story (S.M.A.S.) adds a new component...music and visual aides.

Its goal is simple; Offer a music driven program where our life’s playlist may not just be a collection of songs, but a gateway to remembering the times of our lives.

S.M.A.S. lives at the crossroads of the popular music of the 1950s through the 1980s and the magic of stories, which collectively become the soundtrack of the human experience. Using the power of song and the impact of its lyrics, S.M.A.S. takes us to a time of remembering: events, relationships and the emotions of growing up. It sees music as having the ability to spark a memory or to find a smile forgotten by the heart. S.M.A.S. through its lighthearted fun engages others to move past the realities of getting older and to laugh at the difficult moments of living today. Music connects us, redeems us, physically moves us and calms us.

Audio Video Effects

She was first attracted to the program following the death of her mother and the significant role music played in bringing to her mom a calming presence. It is great to create a musical video presentation that she would have enjoyed.
